Free vs Paid OnlyFans Page: What the Difference Means for a Promoter

Free vs paid OnlyFans pages from the promoter's side: how each one converts, what kind of traffic suits it, what to say in captions and how to judge results fairly for each.

Creators choose whether their page costs a monthly subscription or is free to follow, with paid messages and posts inside. The creator's side makes that decision, not you. But it changes how you should promote, and how you should read your numbers.

This guide explains both models from the promoter's seat: what a click turns into, which traffic fits, and how not to compare the two unfairly.

Some creators run both, or switch with promotions. Free trial links on a paid page sit in between; see OnlyFans free trial links explained.

Which traffic fits which page

A paid page needs people who already like the creator. Warm traffic converts: a Telegram channel, an engaged following on X, people who've seen many of her posts. Cold traffic from one viral post often clicks, looks at the price and leaves.

A free page tolerates colder traffic, because following costs nothing. But a free follow is only worth something if the person later buys. Huge numbers of uninterested followers make your numbers look good and earn little.

  • Paid page: build familiarity first, then link. Fewer clicks, each one more deliberate.
  • Free page: reach more people, but still aim at people who fit the creator's style.

What to say in captions

Never promise what the page doesn't give. On a paid page, the honest pitch is the experience of following her. On a free page, the honest pitch is 'follow for free', without implying everything inside is free. Misleading captions bring refunds and complaints, and break platform rules on deceptive content.

Judging results fairly

Comparing a free page's sign-ups with a paid page's sign-ups is comparing different things. Look at what the fans from your link spend over time instead.

Talk to the creator's side

A short list of questions to ask before you start promoting a page:

  • Is the page free or paid right now, and is a change planned?
  • Are free trial or discount links running, and until when?
  • What is on the page this week that you can honestly mention?
  • Which kind of traffic has worked for this creator before?

Ask which model the page uses, whether it changes, and when promotions run. If you're with AMZA, your Wingman tells you which creators are on which model and what to say for each, so your captions and your expectations match.

FAQ

Is a free or paid OnlyFans page better to promote?+

Neither is better in general. A free page converts clicks more easily; a paid page earns more per follower up front. What matters is how much your traffic spends over time, which you can only see with tracking.

Why does my free page traffic earn less at first?+

Because a free follow costs nothing. The money comes later, from purchases inside. Judge free-page traffic over weeks, not days.

Can I tell people a page is free if it has paid content?+

You can say following is free, but don't imply everything is free. Honest captions avoid complaints and keep you inside platform rules on misleading content.
