How to Promote OnlyFans on Discord: Rules, 18+ Servers and Respect
How promoters handle Discord for 18+ creators: age-restricted servers only, Discord's general adult content rules, a creator's own server, other servers' rules, no spam DMs.
Discord is built around communities, and some of them are for adults. That makes it a possible channel for 18+ creators, but only in the right places and in the right way. Discord's rules on adult content are specific: age-restricted spaces only, nothing in public areas, nothing involving anyone who might be a minor, and no spam.
This guide is for promoters who help a creator with Discord. It covers what the rules generally say, running a creator's own server, taking part in other 18+ servers, and how to measure the results. Read Discord's current Terms of Service and Community Guidelines; this is a general overview.
Discord's adult content rules, in general terms
- Age-restricted only: adult material belongs only in servers or channels marked age-restricted. Public areas, server icons, banners and names must be safe for work.
- Adults only: Discord requires users to meet a minimum age, and adult spaces are for 18+ only.
- Consent and ownership: only post content the creator owns and agreed to share. Never leaked, stolen or AI-faked images of real people.
- No spam: unsolicited DMs, mass invites and raids break Discord's rules.
- Discovery: servers with adult content are generally kept out of Discord's public discovery.
Running a creator's own server
A creator's server is a fan club: a place where adult fans who already know her can chat, see announcements and feel closer. It shouldn't replace her subscription page.
| Channel | Content | Age setting |
|---|---|---|
| #welcome | Rules, 18+ confirmation, links | Safe for work |
| #announcements | New posts, live times, offers | Safe for work |
| #chat | Fans talking to each other | Safe for work |
| #teasers | Approved previews | Age-restricted, if used at all |
| #ask-me | Questions for the creator | Safe for work |
- 1Mark the server and any adult channel as age-restricted.
- 2Add a verification step so members confirm they're 18+.
- 3Write clear rules: respect, no harassment, no sharing her content outside the server.
- 4Appoint moderators who know the rules and remove problems quickly.
Taking part in other 18+ servers
Some adult servers have promotion channels for creators. They usually have strict rules: verification that the creator is who she says she is, one post a day or week, a set format.
| Good practice | Gets you banned |
|---|---|
| Read and follow each server's promo rules | Posting in the wrong channel |
| Complete creator verification where asked | Promoting a creator without her consent |
| One clear post with her link | The same message in 30 servers at once |
| Answer questions politely | DMing members who didn't ask |
Verification on Discord works a lot like Reddit's; Reddit verification posts explained covers the idea.
Where Discord fits
Discord is rarely the first place someone finds a creator. People come from Reddit, X or short video, then a few join a server. So Discord's job is retention: keeping fans engaged so they stay subscribed. For the front end, see best OnlyFans traffic sources and the Discord promotion guide for server basics.
Measuring results
Use a Discord-only tracking link for her page, and a separate one for each outside server you post in, built with the tracking link builder. Compare subscribers per link weekly. An AMZA Wingman can help read those numbers and decide which servers are worth keeping.
FAQ
Is it allowed to promote OnlyFans on Discord?+
Only in spaces that allow it: age-restricted servers or channels whose rules permit creator promotion. Public areas must stay safe for work, and spam DMs are not allowed.
Do Discord NSFW servers need age verification?+
Adult spaces must be marked age-restricted and are for 18+ only. Many servers add their own verification step on top; it's good practice for a creator's server.
Can I DM people my creator's link on Discord?+
No. Unsolicited DMs with links are spam under Discord's rules and most servers' rules, and they get accounts banned.
Should a creator have her own Discord server?+
It can help keep existing fans engaged. It works best once she has fans asking for a place to chat, not as a way to find new people.
